Working closely with the clients, our aim was to fully compliment an outstanding architectural design, ensuring that the interiors were coherent as well as enhanced the exterior fabric. The metal staircase with water jet cut outs creates a pattern not only in the balustrade panelling itself, but with the shadows it cast in various parts of the day. The colour of the staircase matches the RAL colour of the windows whilst the exterior decking compliments the internal lightened oak wooden flooring in a herringbone format. A considered design utilises kitchen units in bespoke sizes with overlapping at various heights to create a floating piece of furniture. There is an abundance of functional space including additional storage and work surface in the pantry. As a central piece, the island itself is a statement with a drop down breakfast bar built in a mixture of matt greys and warm wooden tones. All of which tailors to a practical, functional and sociable family living. Bespoke joinery in the dining area have finishes that complement the kitchen and helps to define the spaces without obstructing the amazing views.
