The first Hieronymus flagship store in Zürich may be small in size, but it is grand in gesture and content. This brand creates writing instruments of beauty and needed a setting with the same luxurious radiant power as its products. Glenn Sestig designed a refined shop with the use of titanium travertine and bronze brushed furniture pieces. The large bronze mirrors against the back wall generate an infinite depth thus creating an expanse for the products to thrive in. The grey Tay wooden furniture pieces contain the high end stationary. This is detailed with bronze grips and recessed handles for the top drawers. The exclusive titanium travertine is used as a central piece spanning the two levels, dividing the public front with the more intimate top level, which is used for client meetings.A black steel tower, which is used as a retail unit, emphasizes the double high space, creating an impressive spatiality within the limited dimensions. Together with the tower, a massive Rubinoi marble piece graces the central area. The black recessed lighting fixtures, called Regard, also designed by Glenn Sestig for Kreon, illuminate this central area. Various platforms and a staircase in Kokinovrakos frame the Rubinoi floor, connecting the main shop with the more private upper level.
