Our homes are almost a part of our family themselves. They are the embodiment of our own personal ideas and creativity, as if we give birth to them. And the more original we are with our design, the more our homes feel like a distinct part of ourselves.

For those of you who are looking for different and unique homes for some inspiration for yours, this article will take you there. We have seven stylishly cool homes for any taste.

So let's take a look!

1. L-shaped house

As our first house, we are proud to present the L-shaped model home. As the name suggests, it is in the shape of an L and stretches over one storey. The shape of the home provides the residents with an enclosed courtyard space with optimal privacy.

2. Built-in

This single storey luxury villa in the forest is surrounded by lush vegetation and is made from natural materials in order to blend in with the landscape. This unique home design incorporates a terrace with a built-in fireplace. Surrounded by plush furnishings, this area has all the ingredients for a chill night watching the stars and roasting weenies.

3. A spicy little cottage

Next up, we have a curious minimalist-style cottage. The design is chic, quaint, cosy, and above all intriguing. We love the intricate carvings on the side of the home. It's as if they're ancient runes that tell a secret of days long past.

4. Modern and modular

This modular home is a somewhat new concept. It was assembled on-site and is just as durable as it is beautiful. The architects used a steel structure for the frame and brought in warm timber and cool white as the main colours for a sophisticated and stylish appearance.

5. Lakeside lodge

This incredible home is located next to a small lake and serves as a vacation getaway. The home takes on characteristics of the natural environment that surrounds it. The beautiful thing about this residence is its sustainability detail. It's cost-effective in heating and cooling and was designed with top-of-the-line electrical equipment to leave behind a smaller carbon footprint.

6. Home and garden in one

Green carpets of grass inhabit every available corner of this incredible home. It's its most prominent feature next to the home's sloping and protruding roof and terrace spaces. This home quite literally becomes a part of the environment around it and on top of all that, provides these residents with an amazing view of their town and a sun bathing option that no one else in the area has.

7. Little house with limited space

Our last home is the most streamlined home we think we've ever seen. Given this home's design, you'd think space would be a problem, but it poses no obstacle for these residents. The strange triangular home consists only of 52 square metres, but is the perfect design for those of us who live in large and populated cities.
