Structurally however, the house does have some peculiarities. Due to the poor building plot and a very high ground water level, a pile foundation was necessary. Here a cellar was not deemed suitable. Since the load-bearing construction is visible everywhere in a wooden framed house, only high-quality, white-glazed glue laminated wood was used. To ensure the filigree effect, the thickness of the exterior walls is matched to the slender columns.
